Nyimbi Odero brings extensive experience and a multidisciplinary approach to each project he undertakes. He has experience in project management, business planning, computer system design and implementation (both hardware and software), communications system engineering and networking. He has over 8 years of software and network, development experience, ranging from FORTRAN simulations to fault tolerant file systems on grid computing platforms, from DSP for audio signal processing to developing bespoke vertical software applications. His wide background means that his “start-up” time on a new project is minimal.

Extensive experience with both hardware and software makes him a good leader for projects where hardware/software integration is critical: He can explain the hardware limitations to the software people, and the software limitations and requirements to the hardware people. This is especially important with many of today’s systems which rely on a synergistic combination of hardware and software.

Mr. Odero has good communications and presentation skills, and has been team leader for numerous proposal efforts and design reviews. He is particularly adept at translating the technically uninformed desires of clients and end-users into crisp technical specs and creating applications and solutions to suit. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing business plans, market introduction plans, project plans and technical investment analyses.
